A Main Street Community

A note from our Executive Director:

Hi all! I will soon leave the Executive Director position with LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation (LDRC). I want to take a moment to give my heartfelt goodbye. Over the past eight years, this position has been intertwined with my daily life. From answering emails at all times of the day to late-night ideas, it has consumed a considerable portion of my days, and I would not have changed a thing. This has been the best job I have ever had, even though I don’t consider it a job; it is more of a passion.
I have had the most beautiful people on my board of directors, and I adore each of them for the unique talents they brought to your community over the years. My time here has been marked with triumphs and challenges. Thank you for going on this journey with me as we try to bring all we can to Downtown LaBelle. I will cherish the friendships I have made along the way. Thank you for loving our LDRC Mascot, Fritz, with me. He loves you back! Thank you for the encouragement and feedback over the years; it’s been a true blessing. But, as they say, all good things must come to an end. I want you all to know I have done my very best to pour all my love for LaBelle into this position. I am excited to meet the person who will take over this opportunity and do even better things!

Much love and best regards,

Kelly Boone
